Melissa contacted me before Christmas about doing a maternity session in January for her first baby that she is expecting with her husband, Jon. She was so excited & just couldn’t wait to head down to Fish Creek Park to capture some beautiful images of her 34-week belly! It was a little chillier than the forecast was calling for but they were brave souls & put up with me for 2.5 hours to get them all the beautiful shots you see here! I had a very hard time picking just a few to post b/c they all are simply amazing thanks to a couple who are obviously in love & so excited for the birth of a baby boy or girl….it’ll be a surprise! But don’t worry, I talked her into a First Year Package (it wasn’t hard) so there’ll be pics in no time of the little one in her tummy to show all of you!

When Kathy emailed & asked to do a photography package for both Maternity & Newborn photos with her first child she was pretty excited & had lots of ideas. She didn’t just want one setting; she wanted a bit of studio & some beautiful country scenery as well. She even asked for a little boudoir-feel to a few photos as she had seen some of my boudoir work when she was on my website. I have been wanting to do some beautiful boudoir photos with a maternity session, as I think it’s one of the most beautiful periods in a woman’s life, so I was thrilled to shoot them with Kathy. I think all of her photos turned out beautifully & I can’t wait to meet their little girl in the New Year for some more photos!
